Oktava MK-012/101 Microphones With Joly Modification

Matched pair of Russian Oktava MK-012 microphones, with the Oktavamod electronics upgrade performed by Michael Joly. Comes with matched cardioid capsules, plus a pair of matched MK-101 large diaphragm capsules, the same as featured in Oktava’s 219 and 319 microphones. Also comes with original wooden storage box containing 2 detachable -10dB pads, 2 microphone clips and a stereo bar. The Joly modification makes these mics perform similarly to Neumann KM84s, with a robust midrange and smooth top end. The 101 capsules are described by Michael Joly as being similar to a 47 capsule in timbre.
